Today, NDSA students both participated and organized a math competition event in collaboration with students from AIA! ✨Pairs of students from NDSA, AIA and Future IB put their math skills to the test in the problem-solving session. Heute haben unsere Schüler der NDSA an einem Mathematik-Wettbewerb teilgenommen, der in Zusammenarbeit mit AIA-Studenten organisiert worde! ✨ Zwei Schülerpaare von der NDSA, der AIA und der Future IB stellten in der Problemlösungssitzung ihre mathematischen Fähigkeiten unter Beweis. Später traten die Teams der drei Schulen bei der Schnitzeljagd gegeneinander an, um das schwer fassbare „Schlüsselwort“ aufzudecken! 🗺️
Den Tag beendeten wir mit einer Abschlussfeier und der Preisverleihung. 🏆
Wir freuen uns darauf, dass im nächsten Jahr weitere IB-Schulen und Schüler am AIB-Mathewettbewerb (Alexandria IB) teilnehmen werden.

Trip to Siwa / Siwa-Fahrt
in January/ im Januar 2024

Our DP1 students have spent considerable time brainstorming to develop their innovative CAS project, focusing on addressing plastic pollution in Siwa while educating local children about environmental conservation. They avoided conventional methods, opting instead for innovative approaches like designing eco-friendly alternatives to plastic and organizing interactive educational workshops. Their out-of-the-box thinking aimed to inspire lasting change and empower the community to safeguard the environment.

The students focused on minimizing plastic usage and contributing to the well-being of the community which paves the way for a sustainable future. DP1 students worked on educating Siwa kids about environmental conservation and how to find alternatives for plastic which fulfils and exemplify the strands of creativity , activity and service inherent in the CAS program.

Thankfully the project was a huge success, garnering attention from local newspapers which featured articles highlighting the project and mentioning our school’s name in the titles. This recognition is a testament to the impact of our students work and the positive change they are bringing to the community.
